Summer in Iowa City - Sand in the City August 10 - August 12, 2012 ...

It?s always amazing to me how quickly summer passes. I wish I could say the same for winter! The Summer of the Arts season is coming to an end and this weekend is a fun one when Sand in the City gives us all an opportunity to see sand sculptures designed and built by local community businesses. There?s a contest of course and fun for the whole family with Free Live Entertainment and the ever popular Culinary Row.

This year for the first time they also have ?Mini? Sculpting Competitions going on throughout the weekend for children to get involved in.
